Eastbourne Hoop Club Parent/Guardian Terms & Conditions

 
By registering my child to participate in Eastbourne Hoop Club, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
 
1. Injury & Personal Property
- I understand that basketball and physical activity involve an inherent risk of injury.
- To the extent permitted by law, Eastbourne Hoop Club, its coaches and staff will not be held responsible or liable for injuries sustained while participating in Hoop Club sessions, or for personal property that is lost, stolen or damaged during a session.
- Eastbourne Hoop Club coaches are first aid trained and will take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for all participants.
 
2. Medical Information & Emergencies
- I am responsible for informing Eastbourne Hoop Club of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries or other health information that may affect my child’s ability to participate safely.
- I authorise Eastbourne Hoop Club coaches to provide reasonable first aid to my child if required.
- In the event of a serious injury or medical emergency, I authorise Eastbourne Hoop Club to contact emergency services where necessary. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the child’s parent/guardian or emergency contact as soon as possible. Eastbourne Hoop Club Terms & Conditions

3. Session Fees
- I agree to pay the disclosed session fee for each Eastbourne Hoop Club session my child attends.
Fees and payment instructions will be communicated to parents/guardians. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is required for each session attended.

4. Cancellations
- Eastbourne Hoop Club reserves the right to cancel or postpone a session due to weather conditions or any other circumstances that make it unsafe or impractical for the session to proceed.
- Parents/guardians will be notified of cancellations as soon as reasonably possible. No session fee will be charged for a session cancelled by Eastbourne Hoop Club.

5. Photography & Video Consent
- I consent to photographs and/or video footage being taken during Eastbourne Hoop Club sessions which may include my child.
- I understand that this content may be used solely for Eastbourne Hoop Club’s social media accounts, marketing and advertising purposes.
- Eastbourne Hoop Club will use such content appropriately and will not sell photographs or videos of participants or provide them to third parties for their independent advertising purposes.

6. Behaviour
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards coaches, other participants and members of the public, and to follow reasonable instructions given by Eastbourne Hoop Club coaches.
- Eastbourne Hoop Club reserves the right to remove a participant from a session where their behaviour is unsafe, seriously disruptive or negatively affects other participants.

7. Drop-Off & Collection
- Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child arrives safely at the session and is collected promptly at its conclusion.
- Eastbourne Hoop Club’s supervision of participants applies during the scheduled session time. Parents/guardians remain responsible for their child before the session begins and after it concludes.

8. Parent/Guardian Agreement
By registering my child for Eastbourne Hoop Club, I confirm that:

• I have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions;

• I have provided any relevant medical or health information;

• I understand the inherent risks associated with basketball and physical activity;

• I agree to pay the disclosed fee for each session my child attends; and

• I provide the photography and video consent described above.
